Learn More About Steve's Baseball Cards
Steve’s Baseball Cards opened our storefront in Teaneck in 1983, back in the prehistoric, pre-internet, pre-smartphone dark ages, and we’re still here today. How did we survive recessions, labor disputes in all the major sports, the vast overproduction of sports cards in the 1980’s-1990’s, the steroid era, and Miley Cyrus? Well, it wasn’t easy. But a few core principles have carried us through. Inventory
We have a lot of stuff. Maybe too much stuff. Topps cards from 1951 (talk about prehistoric) to present. Tobacco cards, 1930’s gum cards, early 1950’s Bowmans. Exhibit cards. Autographed cards. Football cards where the players didn’t even wear face masks, hockey cards where the goalies didn’t bother with masks at all. People were tough back then. Ugly too. Not many teeth. But we digress. We carry all the current wax boxes and packs and individual cards. Complete sets, stars, commons, inserts. Mets,Yanks, Jets, Giants, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Devils. Steve himself is a Mets, Jets, and Knicks fan, which most psychologists consider too much for one person to deal with. But who ever said life was easy?Organization
People come in and say “What a great job- you get to play with cards all day”. It’s true. But sorting through tens of thousands of cards and getting them organized and priced is work. It’s worth it because we are able to find the cards you need quickly and easily. Our commons are always in number order. Cards are priced by condition- we cater to the condition-sensitive collector and the bargain hunter too. And if you hate organization there is plenty of random mess too.Supplies
Steve’s carries a full line of sportscard supplies. That means binders, pages, top-loads, screwdowns, penny sleeves, cardboard and plastic boxes, price guides, and many more.Reliability
